"Amarillo, I want to tell you about my recent experiences. My wife has been asking and bugging me for new carpet for at least 3 years. I have put her off by having companies come in and steam clean the carpets. Last week I finally told her to get some prices locally, rather than the big box stores. I told her if she could find a good local company at a reasonable price she could go for it!
She started off at local store where the guy was nice but a typical salesperson. She then went to CARPET WORLD and dealt with CLINT NORTON. He was very personable, extremely helpful, knowledgeable about his product, and gave her a great price. He scheduled the install at the weeks end and said the installers would even move the furniture that we had in the rooms at no extra cost. Now fast forward to Tuesday. I hired a guy to do pluming and remodeling work in my bathroom next to the new carpet. There are now spots of red soldering flux all over the new carpet coming out of bathroom leading to the living room. When confronted, the plumber would not acknowledge the damage he caused to the new carpet. There was even a wet spot where he had tried to clean it up. Why would someone do this if he did not make the mess? This whole situation could have been worked out if the guy would have just told us what he got on the carpet so we could get the stains off. Just tell me what you did so I can get to work on cleaning it! Now, here is what kind of company CARPET WORLD is and what kind of person CLINT NORTON is. My wife was in tears talking to CLINT NORTON about the whole situation. He finished the job he was at and ran over to the house to assess the situation. He followed up with my wife this morning and told her that he would send over an installer to replace the damaged section with new carpet…AT NO EXTRA COST! WOW!!!! I would recommend CLINT NORTON and CARPET WORLD to EVERYONE looking to put carpet in their homes. If you are go elsewhere, you will not receive near the level of service that CARPET WORLD has to offer. Thank you to Clint, Jerry (Owner), and the installers at CARPET World.
